Vale Royal Borough Council did a superb job in widening and smoothing the track - and extending it by a mammoth 15 yards! Added to this was warm weather and times tumbled - but the riders stayed on board.
The whole meeting was incident free although one rider found the heat rather hard work and had to retire. Other than this, everyone had a brilliant day's racing and provided superb entertainment for the huge crowd.
